Within my heart
At the station of Awadnā
I placed my inner eye
To see my beloved
Polished and adorned
A bride in her mystic beauty
In tremendous light! and music
Suddenly I got into my soul
Through a black hole!
And now I'm freed
From seeking my self
From evenmy seeking eye
Mykoul
1. Verse 9 from An-Najm in Arabic
﴿فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ أَوْ أَدْنَىٰ﴾
[ النجم: 9]
(And was at a distance of two bow lengths or nearer.)
`Aw `Adna in some Sufi orders is also a station of meditation.
