Without Saying Much Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Without Saying Much

Constantly bite yourself
For there's no stopping now
The bandage sniffs the blood
Crawling beyond your tired skin
The sirens are deafening
Feel the blade slice and sliver
Through the force field
Of your dreams
And what it seems
Before the distance shouts
Take away the words
You're supposed to hear
Without saying much
Let your screaming pulse
Mirror into the colors of dawn
