Without Wings Poem by Gianni Pintus

Without Wings

I can see lands below,
I can see trees and lakes too,
I can feel the sun on my way,
I can see the mighty bright day.

I can feel the clouds touching me,
I feel the horizon around me,
flying above the mountains,
then reach the northern star,
then drink from the holy fountain.

The moon is my friend,
and all planets are my faith,
the rivers are inside me,
all gods are blowing winds.

Dance with the sandstorm,
And touch the peeks tops,
Sail the ocean,
and kiss the day warm
Then again up to the stars,
And reach for the heaven gate,
Through the mighty celestial path,
where only love is the purest faith.

Flight where the weather is so warm,
then search for the unsettle storm,
leave the earth and learn to fly,
in this forbidden immense sky,
Then back to earth at the end of a day,
and feel again the love who swept me away.
