Never thought that all these things
would culminate to this beginning
Smiling faces with places to go
Got no time for you no
Text me now or text me later
What's the difference
I'll be staying
Too many instances
Too many opportunities dismissed
Knowing that you stand right here
Walking through all the right doors
Knowing that you've always been here
Right here for me to fall back on
Because you'll never let me go
Never let me fade
Never let others blind me
Lead me on my way
Root for me because you believe
That I'll succeed

Captured me
Yet you never attempted
Look at me
Like nobody else
Smiling the brightest
Because the brightest don't go down
I may run but I won't flee
