Wonder Poem by Thomas Becker

Wonder

Rating: 4.0

I look outside my window at night,
my mind is swayed by the star light.
They seamed so bright but far away,
a canvas of God that is on display.
Just like love that space is deep
and like love can make you weep.
As I wonder looking out there,
could there be others elsewhere?
Its hard to believe that its so vast
and the Human race it would outlast.
The emotions began filling my chest,
the answer is we must leave the nest.
For eons Mankind may just roam
but I'm sure they will find a new home.
Fear of the unknown has stayed our hand
and we have all be killed this promised land.
We need to act before it only about survival,
it would seam Mankind has become homicidal.
