Wondering Dreams Poem by Bill Simmons

Wondering Dreams

Rating: 5.0

Daffodils cover hills
Clouds go passing by
Rainbows, pots of gold
As children close their eyes

Dream the wondering dreams
As fast asleep they lay
A knight in shining armor
In a land far away

Visit the heavens
Walk among the clouds
The secrets they keep in dreams they can reach
Look yonder, they can fly now

Jelly beans, cartoon beings
A princess in a tower up high
See the wonder as they dream yonder
As make believe friends come alive

Dream the wondering dreams
Little children close your eyes
And as you dream, think of me
I too once had that ride.
