Word Of Truth Poem by Thabani Khumalo

Word Of Truth

Word of truth... Word of truth!
The word of truth is indeed,
in all its tangible and fitting fair descriptions,
like a dream that shakes a man from his very deep sleep
and takes him on a journey beyond all physical measurements -
a journey of the spirit alone into God the maker -
right under his eyelids just above his nose bridge.

The land continues silent in its pandemonious trends,
but I listen to the wise word in a quest to cut the depths of understanding...
in a quest to gain insight of what really is,
and it reveals to me the answers hidden from a fashionable light.

Another true word that is not at all written
even in a way bigger book than the book of life,
I can feel it loiter among the howling angels of the running winds,
and you continue to wonder why the air is so heavy.

The word of truth is therefore blowing in the wind,
that the lord of the heavens still says
something very profound to the race of living man...
also in a true tune of his strongest physical voice:
there will also be a human person as ambulant upon the land,
as in the glorious human person of the Israeli Christ.
He will receive a transfiguration above that of the first Christ.

My name is Thabani Khumalo and I look undoubtedly all very well,
but I will manufacture a transfiguration
well above all the six hundred and sixty sixth folds.
I will catch it while it is moving in the world like an evil fiend.
I am he the author and the finisher of everlasting life.
