Do you ever wonder what It’d be like
If you were always by my side
If you’d said yes to me instead
If I was the place you rest your head
If I was the one you told it all
If I was the place that you could fall
If I could hold you in my arms
If I could keep you safe from harm
If you loved me instead of her
We would never be a were
I’d love you my entire life
We’d grow up I’d be your wife
We would have a nice family
I’d be next to you when we sleep
We’d hold each other in our arms
We’d keep each other safe from harm
If I could always hold your hand
We walk the beach and gather sand
She is my friend you know this now
I cant betray her anyhow
I’ll still love you every day
But these are words I can not say
