Wordsmith Poem by iqra hassan

Wordsmith

Rating: 5.0

I have never seen magic
Walking down the aisle,
I do not know how mysteries drip down
Like rain upon hearts
And how it's soil gives off the alluring fragrance,
I am unknown to the winds
That bring home the smell of lover
Like a messenger and blow away the ash of nightmares,
I cannot play with words as I am not a wordsmith like you,
I can only weave a garment of hope and dreams
To which your smile is a yarn and your eyes
From behind those glasses,
Are the colour.
