Work In Preygress Poem by karen sinclair

Work In Preygress

Rating: 5.0

Our knots gnawed by that garish aged rat
Time
Frayed edges fall on pastures
To be chewed as fodder
Fill ones udder if thou must
Mine inner mind
Mine lustful loins
Tis lost on wasteful bounder
Strays such as you
Whom
Upon golden bountiful mounds of hallowed hay
Hollow sits
As shallow does
Mustered sensual senses
Loiter
Way beyond all that is prevailant
Valiant desires of mine mind
Resisted by knowledge past on by mankind
How on earth prey
Did those two words lay
Side by side
Misguided words
Dare I say
Why ever not...

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I don't fully get it but I still like the language and flow and structure and the bits I did get. That is the personal power of a poetic rant. It essentially is personal. Thanks for sharing, maintain the rage! We're the 2 words love and you. Please tell me I got it?
