It never seems to amaze me
How some people are taken for granted
At times, even cruelty heads their way
Then time after time, with different people I've seen it
After death, sayings such as what a good person he was
This is the world of the living
Be kind while people are alive
Prayers and masses, memories and wishes
Wishes that more kindness had come their way
Be kind to one another
Treat each day as if it were the last
In Heaven once again we shall all gather
With faith, peace, love, kindness and decency to all
In paradise, where there is no more pain or tears
