Worthless Poem by Susha Strauss

Worthless

Rating: 3.0

They consider me worthless
Would sell me to a master
For free
Just to get
Away from me
I may be hated by one family
But worth something to another
But, I can’t see them
As much as I use too
Since the connection
Between us
Disappeared
The boat gone
The bridge collapsed
The only thing that cared for me
Enough to bring me happiness
Is gone
And now I’m struck
With the hatred
Of my second half.
