If I were the ugliest person ever lived…
Would you love me?
If I were the most untalented one…
Would you leave me?

If I could not be what you want me to be…
If what you see through me is not what you want me to be…
If you say I am no longer there…
If I have been another stranger…
Would you love me still?

If I were a leaper,
Would you even want to dream of me?
Would you kiss me?
What if I am just a dying ember?

If I could no longer close my eyes and dream…
If I’ll be drown in misery…
If you believe that this is no longer real…
Would you love me still?

If I can’t promise you anything,
Would you hold me?
If the darkest of despair will steal me away from you,
If I become one of the things you fear of…
If our destinies break and shatter…
Would you still be there? Would you?
