Writers Block
It's been a while since I have written
But the inspiration bug's not bitten

I have so many thoughts inside
But to the paper they do not glide

Inspiration is a fickle thing
Sometimes it hides, sometimes it sings

If only I could a finished thought think
I would write it down before it left in a blink

My writing style is always changing
My thoughts and feelings forever rearranging

It makes things tough for inspiration to stick
When everything changes so very quick

So here is to the first of many writings I hope
Before my inspiration is lost on thoughts slippery slope.
