Wrong Allegation Poem by Tosin Abegunde

Wrong Allegation

I begin to ponder on wonders
The rhetoric of petitio pricippi
Reposed like plague on Esu
Hither-to-fore accused of guilt
Relevant in no good deed.

The twin living creature
Living in legendary junctions
At junctures leave foot prints
Flambouyant yet very inimical
Giving no accent to ones plan
Still react to bit of instructions.

Empathetic in sympathy
As white as charcoal in edifice
With pure heart to police all
Thus making a fragment of conscience
Though 'yond scientific proof

The intruder at celebrations
Accuser of the brethren
In Jerusalem and Mecca i react
At Golgotha i threw my stone
Just fulfilling all righteousness.

On success, it's Lords doing
In tragedy, his handwork it is
Yet his contribution is faint
Like a distant noise of silence
what a paradox of reality!

When did i join your loot?
Did i force you to be reckless?
Who says i pushed you extramarital?
Did i blow your green horns?
Quote me, queue me, quick!

Contentment you lack
Conscience you need
I'm not guilty of these deeds
I shall be vindicted
Perhaps tomorrow lives beyond.
