Yet Another Lost Moment Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Yet Another Lost Moment

A full moon was beckoning me
And I was nowhere in sight
My eyes were far too tired from reading
My ears deafened by clients' pain and suffering
I was feeling overwhelmed, and I burst out crying
I wept for the tears that had flooded their lives
I wailed for their abuse...mental physical emotional spiritual
But most of all,
I cried and regretted that I wasn't there for you
