You Are Poem by James Corro

You Are

Rating: 3.5

You are the woman of the hour
Your strides light your path
It makes my heart light
The wave of your hair vibrates
I can feel the aftermath
It makes my eyes stiff
The curve of your body resonates
The beauty that stays within
It makes my joints stiff
By your whole presence alone
I can think that I am dyin'
You are the light of the path
Kill me softly by your presence
Quench my own darkness
Your presence alone is the light
You are the light of my path.
