You Are My Exit Poem by Loyd C Taylor Sr

You Are My Exit

My heart needs an outlet
To allow my love to flow,
A channel to vent my emotions
A pathway to let desire grow.

My mind needs an avenue
To direct my thoughts aright,
A manual to lead my intentions
A passageway to bring to light.

My soul needs an egress
To release my bowels pain,
A guide to share my inventions
A highway to make them plain.

My heart, my mind and soul
To you they willingly flow,
An exodus in your direction
A doorway to your sweet soul.

Sweetheart, you are my exit.
