You Become My Sorrow Poem by Satish Verma

You Become My Sorrow

Why did you back
out in race of love? You burned
lies in losing truth,

I repeat my pain
like the nature of an aging sword
makes you unconscious.

Two pages you cannot
write simultaneously. I survive
in the smoke of black berries.
