You Broke My Heart.. Poem by Pranayee Rachamalla

If u are thinking me as stone hearted,
then i say, you broke my heart into pieces,
if u think my heart is a forest,
then you deforested it, even without the trace of a leaf!
If you are supposing my heart as a glacier,
then you made it melt, just like global warming!
you thought my heart as a piece of wood,
so you lit up fire and burnt it into ashes.
So, you think my heart is an empty palace?
perhaps that's the reason you planned for reconstruction.
Do you think my feelings are some kind of liquid?
so that you can boil them, till it reach my state of anger
and go to its melting point again by an apology? !
Do you think my heart as a cigarette?
That you can stamp it and crush it under your feet? !
Literally to say, you assumed my heart
as a piece of paper and tore, it ripped it
into pieces innumerable.
Now, your story and your 'sorry' isn't a glue stick,
to stick it back, so, i don't need it!
