can you not see the look in my eyes

when i see you and my heart slowly dies?

can you not feel my body shake

with every breath you take?

i guess you can't hear my cries

because it's all a bunch of lies.

you can't feel my heart triple its pace

just by seeing your beautiful face.

and i guess you'll never feel the same for me

or see what it is i can see.

you'll never cry the tears i cry

and you don't have to ask me why.

the things i know hurt me deep

but my sanity i must keep.

you promised everything will be ok

you just can't find the words to say.

its hard not to call you my boo

but i guess i gotta make do.

i wish you'd let me love you

i want to hear you say you mean it too
