You Didn'T Rip My Heart Out

Rating: 5.0

I think about how
I love.
The first time
I hung onto him
So hard with my heart,
That when he left
My heart was torn loose.
Though I am reminded
Of a still hanging
Heart,
i seek someone to heal it.
Now, after twice more,
My heart hangs again.
It never did quite heal.
Everyone who tried
To heal it hurt me
More.
As for those I
Loved,
They did not
Mend my heart
Back in place.
They used their
Words to
Blind me of the
Stake
They used to Impale my heart
Back in
Place,
And when they
Left
.....
They ripped it out
And left my
Still beating,
Still bleeding
Heart
Hanging, Draining
Of the Crimson
Love
I so longed to share
With them.
Will you heal my
Wounded and dying heart
or
Will you be just another
Scar my
Heart
Will bear?

People will long for another being to mend a heart broken by another. This hits home, where the heart is.

I loved reading it... it was very emotional and touching... I couldn't help but feel the pain for the poor broken hearted person in the story.
