When you look at me,
My heart seems to flutter.
You smile
And I swear I'm on fire.
You turn to her,
And I know its just me.
You like her, she's everything.
So I stand back,
Wondering even if you notice
That I'm even there.
I seem to be fading away,
So I'll keep my mouth shut and smile.
You were my friend
And I know you don't belong with me,
But that won't stop me
From waiting and maybe seeing
That I am completely in love with you.
So I'll stand back
Bit my lip and say nothing.
You don't belong with me,
But that wont stop my heart from breaking
Because you won't even notice me.
