You Have My Heart Poem by Richard Goolsby

You Have My Heart

You have my heart,
This is plain to see,
I've opened it to you,
Its there for you to read.

In it there are chapters,
That's unwritten this day,
Reserved for our life,
At least this I pray.

Even with the obstacles,
That must be overcome,
I'm here with open arms,
In them your always welcome.

There isn't much for me to offer,
Other than my big loving heart,
For when u begin to read,
I'm sure you'll never want to part.

My eyes are only for you,
No matter what should come my way,
For my heart is so very true,
And promises to never stray.
