You Need Charity Poem by Satish Verma

You Need Charity

The curse rebounds,
like a raccoon you want to wash
the victim in pure water.

You turn to be on
the top of names, but cannot
sell the privacy of red blooms

Sit under a palm
tree. It throws very small shadows,
but will remind you of sanctity.
