you say there are no wars
but there is one across the border
people are Kiling and dying
for a war not worth fighting
death are our brothers in war
our families are sick, hungry or poor
we say they caused it,
they say were the cause
because were the demand
and they're the suppliers
its does not matter what land
you live on which side of the wires
you blame it on them that's a shame
caused it were both to blame
they are suffering more
they had just increasing fear and poor
no one wants to visit fear
even if its really near
so please
i know you have to feed your families
but can you do it less violently
i know you're making bills
but you're increasing medical bills
cant you make money another way
because if you stop killing today
then both sides wont live in fear
and mothers wont live in tears
it will help us all and violence will fall
death rates will be small
we will visit and call
then there will be no war at all
