I rode to the castle
And called to her there:
"Rapunzel, Rapunzel,
Let down your fine hair."
Instead of an answer
From my lovely fair maid
A bucket appeared
And an awful cascade
Which dampened my ardour.
And I felt a right drip.
"Last time, she screamed
You came in a Lada."
Now you've down-sized
To that mangy old horse.
No doubt tomorrow
It'll be something worse
Something like you,
You great silly Ass!
So you'd better get working.
You're not worth a dime
If you don't turn up
In a stretch limousine! "

I look forward to that, Sister Frances
I may just do that Tom... :)
tHE LOVER WAS A BIT WET, LITERALLY! The Rapunxel story is very odd. I had another version in mind where the lover arrives with a rope, climbs up Rapunzel's hair but forgets to bring the rope with him and Rapunzel cries: Now that you're up here, how on earth are we going to get down, you chump! Hey, why don't you have a go at that version? I'd like to read it. Or any new angle!
