You Tyrent And Merciless State Poem by Mohammad Younus

You Tyrent And Merciless State

You tyrant and merciless state,
You only love your power and hegemony,
But is there any tyranny more terrible than this?
Our killing, maiming, and blinding!
Depriving us of all our rights -
As if we are not humans!
And snatching our ancestral land,
What happened to Hussein in Karbala,
And to his pure household?
Did he succumb to the tyrant?
Tell me, tyrant:
What exactly do you think?
Lo! We are the children of Hussein
