You'Ve Got (Everything) Poem by Raymond J Wright

You'Ve Got (Everything)

You’ve got
Eyes that shine golden like the sun
And a voice: Supple, silky, caresses like moonlight
Lips to make a man beg
Again and again... And again

Smile for me and I swoon... And
if you so much as touch my hand
while you’re reaching for the door
my reality falls away
I wish you would lay those hands of yours all over me
Again and again... And again

All these years...
Days, come and gone
Still when I see you smile
I forget that you’re not mine

Still when I see that smile
I forget to wonder why
