Your A Rock Star In My Mind Poem by Sandra Dodd

Your A Rock Star In My Mind

In my diary of that night
I cannot write
For the evidence I hide
But if I in my mind recall
My legs were weak
I couldn’t speak at all
Alive with energy
Yet spent for eternity

You were a raging lion
An engineer so thorough
A teacher of fervent Kama Sutra
Gentle like a piano recital
Rare as the instance
the millennium occurred
A rock star, if you don’t mind

Puckish for another portion
I bring to mind the passion
over in over in OCD fashion
Settle it to my minds eye
for to write it down is to
risk a good tongue lashing
