Your Anniversary Poem by Akujuobi Chijioke

Your Anniversary

One more year has passed
That your presence elapsed,
One more time in every way
We still miss you everyday.

I still tell myself that you gone
For in God's memory you now belong,
If yet we will see- beats me
I solemnly leave it to the Almighty.

Favour is grown
And Justice is now in school,
Your girl is now a lady
And dad is pretty cool.

We all feel the void
Though in silence we speak;
I still wish you never hooked that leash
To make today your anniversary...
