Your Eyes

Now
While I am looking at you
I can see
The sky in your eyes
All your sleepless nights
All the tears you did not let out
All the dreams you did not live through
And some traces of good luck…

In your eyes
I can see the sea, too…
Your eyes
Are always happy to see me.
They travel with me
Ignoring borders.
Your eyes are talking to me…
And they are surrounded by time…

    Hi Vida

    I feel your poem is on a highly spiritual plain. It makes me think about the spirits of loved ones who remain with me on life's journeys.
    Whatever the exact message, it is beautifully written.

O Love! thou makest all things even
In earth or heaven;
Finding thy way through prison-bars
Up to the stars;
Or, true to the Almighty plan,
That out of dust created man,
