For what seemed a life time I searched for love.
Each corner I turned made me feel hopeless.
When I thought my search would never end,
I looked into your eyes and there I found it.
The thought of loeliness escaped my mind.
Dreams thought lost have become fulfilled.
Maybe I tried to hide it all from myself.
But, then again maybe I never knew it existed.
You showed me that I was wrong in what I believed.
You lead me to believe inmyself and in us.
Each time you tell me you love me, my heart skips a beat.
Each time we kiss it feels just likr the first.
I know I can tell you anything with trust.
Right now what I want to tell you, is that I love you.
I know if a sholder is needed, I can cry on yours.
I know that we have become bestfriends over time.
You gave me a reason for living each day.
You gave me the urge to fulfill my dreams.
Holding my hand you guided me through life's hard times.
You closely held me near, protected me from harm.
Laying down beside me you let me know you care.
Now a feeling that you'll always be there is at heart.
