Your Shadow Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Your Shadow

Rating: 5.0

Forty words:

Quiet evenings of summertime

refresh memories of long ago

when we sat at our diamond casement

admiring the afterglow...

Glancing now at your leather chair

I never see you there.

But I am constant still

talking to your shadow dear.
