Your Voice #2 Poem by Patrick Keenan

Your Voice #2

Rating: 4.3

Till you spoke to me
I never knew how lonely I could be
I had heard my own voice
asking and answering myself
I thought that was enough
I thought it would do
to write and read my own words
Till you spoke to me

You speak to me
and fill the empty
with the full
turning the arc of me
into the circle of us
