The yellow school bus with the black wheels took sick children to school each day.
The yellow school bus with the black wheels was driven whether or not the sky was gray.

The yellow school bus with the black wheels was driven whether sunny or chilled.
The yellow school bus with the black wheels always brought a smile to little kids face.

Even though I'm so young, you never tell me that you're proud.
And every time I say I love you, you just tell me I'm too loud.
And then tears fall down my face and they all hear me shout.
But now I'm all grown up, how you like me now?
But back then, you were never there just to make me smile.
I really needed you then, I was your only child.
