reaching skyward
breezes tease

nor to bare witness
tear stained eyes

I would like to be the one who makes you cry
and the one who brings you slowly to your knees
I would like to be the one you come home to
as I bend down low to listen to your pleas
...

Hold me
against you
my shelter
my resistance
...

Circling
midnight against an azure sky
wings open wide
watching every
...

I don't deny the pain is real
can not hide the way I feel
but until something seals the deal
I have to look away
...

The line between them
indistinct
sweet flesh the instrument
plays upon one Spanish guitar
