as I lay and wonder
upon my cozy bed
sounds of rain and thunder
surround from overhead

I walk up an overgrown path
up to an iron gate
with hinges that are graced with rust
and bars that are scarred with age
...
Sometimes my thoughts escape me
As the fear begins to rape me
The tears fall from my eyes
...
I can feel the change
as the infection spreads
turn me into something
I never wanted to be

as I lay and wonder
upon my cozy bed
sounds of rain and thunder
surround from overhead
thoughts of fire and magic
cease the storm above
feelings all so tragic
grip me like a glove
like dungeon doors my eyes are shut
to keep the evil locked outside
like slashing swords my memories cut
too deep within my eyes
flashing lightning whistling winds
come pouring through my mind
loss of lovers and betrayel of friends
my blackened heart has much to find
vivid landscapes of total deception
fire burnt trees and empty faces
little fears without correction
loved ones missing without traces
lights come on
im cold and shakin
surprise at dawn
for ive been awaken
dreams of filth have been corrupted
truth of life has interrupted
