Ricardo Flores Poems

Images were the only thing we knew from each other,
as if two shadows passing by at an exact moment,
but was not forgettable.
...

We had spoken once,
getting to know each other.

That was the best time of my like,
...

Invite me to your memory,
I wish to know you.
Let the wind comfort,
let me be your comfort.
...

where am i?
I am nowhere.
I see nothing,
I feel nothing,
...

Love is like the wind.
It comes for a while, but it passes through.
It makes you feel better when it's too hot out,
but then you burn again.
...

It is a sin to want to know more then what we should.
Their is a reason for my existence,
I wish to know what is is, or what it might be.
I am told to live life as is, but i don't think this is life.
...

Friends grow like the leafs on a tree
They come like flies through a window
They leave, as if swatted away
some visit, but not for long...
...

People always say that friendships should be treasured, and never lost.
But I want something more with her, it is unpredictable.
My love for her could never be measured.
I only wish she could see how I feel.
...

I feel nothing but sorrow within.
It is tearing me apart,
i hear sudden screams in the distance.
Running towards the sounds... i feel it again,
...

I see her looking away.
Her face is like nothing i have ever seen before.
A single look provokes me.
I cannot help it in any way.
...

I wondered for many years if it was the right thing to do.
I thought about it as time passed by.
It just kept bringing more thoughts to my head.
Was it the right thing to do?
...

Her name was the most beautiful thing that came to me.
Her appearance would bring joy to my heart.
Her words would take sorrow and despair away.
Everywhere i turn, i see her.
...

We struggle for our survival.
the world is not that it used to be.
The atmosphere is changing world wide.
I see darkness all around us.
...

I see you crying back,
but you broke me.

You never had me,
...

It's alright,
allow yourself to hate.

Hatred is not so bad,
...

It was your set-up.
I went along with it,
I should of known it.
What i had done has no significance.
...

You and I have just met,
and we already know each other
more than knowing our selves.
We have spoken nothing but the truth,
...

Our fights are outlasting,
but we keep going.

We bleed from exhaustion,
...

They put thoughts in the heads of the people.
They do not understand the reason,
although they still control us.
...

You are my family,
you are my brother.

I see myself in you,
...

Ricardo Flores Biography

I am a very simple person, just like many others out their. I was inspired to write from a letter by a friend who has passed away. it was very sympathetic as well. My name is Ricardo Flores, i am 15 years of age. I would consider my self to be very bright at times. I now mostly write stories and poetry of despair and sorrow. I will write about most of the things that might inspire me, it also depends on my mood at many times. 'if you have time, please read my first, and dearest poem 'walking from love' it is a true experience of my life, and it's what inspired me to write.')

Walking From Love

Images were the only thing we knew from each other,
as if two shadows passing by at an exact moment,
but was not forgettable.

Looking into the past we had realized it,
speaking was the only way to understand it.

A single word from her awoke many feelings,
as if we knew each other for centuries.

Words turned into an undeceiving friendship that opened our hearts,
it made me realize that the feeling was too intense.

Passing time without her struck me like bullets,
her sight was what brought me back to life.

I saw love in her eyes,
which turn bright as the sun with unspeakable emotion.

The day i would last see her came with unbelievable haste.

As i looked into her closed eyes i saw nothing,
my heart turned to darkness.

At that moment,
i had realized it was not possible to love her.

I held her hand,
but it was time to let go.

As i walked away,
I looked back for the last time hoping to see her awake,
but their was no way i could bring her back....
