Humanity Before Politics Poem by Ricardo Flores

They put thoughts in the heads of the people.
They do not understand the reason,
although they still control us.

They are the powers of the citizens.
They make us pay for what is not needed.

They protect us, but kill us as well.
They cause war with human beings.

They would kill for more power.
They send our brothers to do the fighting,
while they get killed.

What they do not understand,
is that their is no politics without humanity.

It's 'humanity before politics'
