Four Leafed Clover
A four-leafed clover, rarely found
A rainbow packaged sky
Our times ahead, like both of these
Will always makes me smile.
An unread book with dusty leaves
The attic seldom seen
You’ve opened up an inner me
The part so seldom seen.
Sunlight floods the darkened gloom
And shines on relics past
My eyes they squint- so hard to see
In sun-drenched glow I bask
All at once I recognise
The furniture; the feel
A place I knew in days gone by
In all five senses real.
The room so bright, your love’s white light
