When we go out to dinner, she says, “Don’t hold your chicken with your hands, it is low class”
“Don’t tell people your business. You know how you like to talk”
“Don’t answer the phone every time he calls, he’ll take you for granted”
“Don’t tell him all your business, he’ll know too much about you”

Her twin sister was born perfect two days before she came
But, she arrived two days later, alas who was to blame?
It seemed that from conception, her luck was not the same
For she knew she would be destined for heartbreak and shame

God left me on an island and said He’s coming back
But just before He left me he gave me a little sack
“These are the things you’d need “, He said, ” “As you wait for my return”
In that sack there wasn’t much which caused me some concern

For a long time you ruled solely as Queen
Robed in garments of trees, lustrous and green
You wore mountains as crowns, majestic and tall
Beauty, charm, and wealth, once upon a time, you had it all
...

you did me wrong
cause you knew I wasn't strong
You took my heart and you took my money
But you never called me honey
...

You cannot come with to that place where broken dreams are hidden.
You cannot come with me to that place where memories are forbidden.
I cannot take you to that place where thorns of despair lie
for then, you'll discover the anguish in my cry.
