Descending from the heavens He came down
born as a baby in Bethlehem town.
Emmanuel, God dwelling upon this earth
born into our world by a virgin birth.

God breathed His Spirit into the very first man
and then Adam his new life in Paradise began.
But sin came along and entered into his soul
Now all men need to turn to Christ to be made whole.
