He floated down unto her bed,
Just so he could lose himself
Getting tangled in every hair on her head
...

Its funny how fickle a person can be
And they think the hypocrite is me
The feeling company brings is so good at first
And then it declines to short bursts
...

Gossamer threads may break to the touch,
But they seem to linger on your skin
Somehow the blood of the past winter
Seeps through the walls as they cave in
...

Just wait and see,
I’ll find my spine eventually
Even though you threw it down submission’s bottomless well
It’ll be one hell of a plunge, but then I’ll have a pretty little story to tell
...

Somewhere out there
There is this place by the sea
Where the waves caress the sand
And every soul runs free
...

A lie so cruel
I cannot believe I still treasure
The one who hurts me most
...

Something tells me
The summer has just begun
So why is it that I feel
Like it has already gone?
...

What have we done here?
We prayed for something to pray for
Well, things have repeated again
What shame all the more
...

Somewhere across a misty, black sea,
Revolution is breaking at dawn
But in this safe little cage of mine,
Time just seems to slowly roll on
...

Feelings denied
And thoughts hidden
Roaming in a strange land of diversions,
I once thought to be forbidden
...

Such a shame to the family name
I can't seem to do much right
I couldn't please them for anything
My own mother wants me out of her sight
...

12.

How could you have forgotten me again so quickly?
You could have said goodbye.
I knew you had not the patience,
But, for me, I was hoping you would try.
...

We walk through the dark with fingers intertwined
The cat has your tongue,
And it has mine
...

Is it just me?
Or have we ran out things to talk about?
I'd rather die a thousand times
Than rip your heart out
...

Was I born too soon?
Or just born too late?
Does the point in history matter?
Either way, I have no choice but to participate
...

Purpose...
I shudder to descend in the corners of my mind,
To wonder if it still has a meaning
Memory...
...

Take a step outside out of the line
Your life may be broken
But I won't let it effect mine
...

Nostalgia showed up in my doorway again
She had so many stories to tell
Ones that touched my heart
And ones that gave me hell
...

Wipe the dust off my smile,
And stay a little while
I'm in the mood to have some fun,
The night has only just begun
...

His memory of me lies
In the chink of his boot,
A page in his book,
As he explores a world strange and new

The Man In Her Hair

He floated down unto her bed,
Just so he could lose himself
Getting tangled in every hair on her head

He weaved silky prose into her dreams,
A majesty too good for her to believe
He had resort to many extremes

Throughout the night she tossed and turned
She was so tired and weak,
Her greatest defense had been burned

She tried so hard to brush him out,
But he ruthlessly held on
He was persistent beyond any doubt
