I saw him rag picking,
Kneeling down every step two or three
Unwrapping the wonders in hurry

I remember when my love was just a start
Love songs played on the strings of heart,
Humming her name, passing sleepless nights
When the earth was still, I remained alive.

Standing candidates rushed in haste
To my village, before voting takes place
Wooing the people by the ancient way
Gearing up for campaigning, I remember they said-

I agree nothing lasts forever
But, had come to me scarcity quits never
And by her, I'm always chased
Hush! she is so arrogant and ill behaved

Grinning gesture upon rosy lips
Dimple chin and reddened cheeks
Glossy hair, a rare black sleek
Looks of her, so apt and fit.

Oh! Just go back to few days
Unroll the sweet memories,
Bury those stalking furies
