why something shouts
as loud as a thunder
it was there inside of me

how could i be so lost?
in a place i knew so well
how could i be broken?
in a family so together

when all about you is black
with gloom and all you
feel is pending doom
when your bones are racked with grim despair

i can see the flower
upon which my life
grows, blooming into a rose

your life is lonely as you make it
your joy as much as you decide
to feel your destination
is as you decide to walk
...

life is really hard, it is based on ups
and down, but its hard, when you give up
and you stick to your thoughts
that this is hard
...

purity once had a name
and beauty once had a face.

life once had a meaning
...

look inside your soul
for that last bit of sanity

you can be sure that it

and so it came to be
this isolation that i am
i can only look to me
to find the way it all
