This is for Mark, in memory of our summer spent under the Ft. Hauchuca sun.

I met you in Arizona; in the heat we became friends.

I found you in the sun that faitful day,
Who knew someday we'd have to say...

Goodbye.

Arizona

This is for Mark, in memory of our summer spent under the Ft. Hauchuca sun.

I met you in Arizona; in the heat we became friends.
In those hot days you stuck out while everything else blended in.

Yet in the bright sun I could not clearly see,
All of the beautiful things that we would soon be.

And so time flew by; the summer came to an end.
It was only by chance that we would become more than just friends.

My heart ached inside me as my plane touched the ground,
But when I saw you the ache turned to a pound.

And as we drove on to our great home of gray,
Your words began to melt my saddness away.

The next time we met you recieved your academy ring,
It broke my heart that you didn't seem to remember me.

So we didn't see each other for many more days,
Until I stumbled upon your room when going my way.

That was the day that I first met Tim,
It was as awkward as Arizona; I didn't think I'd see you again.

But you turned up once more and we went on a date,
You held my hand and I began to have faith.

And since that first date we've been through it all,
We've soared nice and high, we've tripped and we've falled.

But through everything one thing is the same...
That feeling you gave me when I stepped off that plane.

It was love Mark Ziegler, please never forget,
I've loved you since Arizona when we very first met.
