Sarah Holmes Poems

Will you cry at her funeral,
Will you feel guilty if you knew?
That’s she’s lying in this coffin,
And it’s all because of you.
...

When you make that friendship,
They can see it in your eyes.
The love that fills your heart,
It makes you want to cry.
...

I'm breaking the mirror,
There's nothing to see.
I won't have to look at….
That image of me.
...

I need you right now,
But you've not there.
It makes me feel like,
You just don't care.
...

I don't want to leave you,
I don't want to walk away.
But I have no choice,
I just can't stay.
...

I used to know what love was,
I’d say all of the time.
I’d get that butterfly feeling,
Knowing they were mine.
...

7.

Trees blow in the wind,
Tears fall from their eyes.
As another day without them,
Carries on by.
...

8.

Each time I have a guy,
They capture my heart.
They mess with my emotions.
Then tear it apart.
...

Why didn’t I see the truth,
Everything you said was lie.
There’s nothing left for me to do,
Just tears for me to cry.
...

I shouldn’t be thinking,
Of someone else instead.
But for some reason,
You’re stuck in my head.
...

Somebody else will be looking in my mirror,
Somebody else will be brushing their hair.
Somebody else will be loving my baby,
When I’m not there.
...

I’m standing at the back,
Waiting for it to begin.
As I walk down the aisle,
My eyes are fixed on him.
...

Waiting,
It’s all I used to do.
Waiting,
Waiting for you.
...

Dry your eye’s child,
Don’t let them see you cry.
Hide away your fears,
Keep them lock inside.
...

My angels floated away,
I’ve closed heavens door.
You’ve left me in tears,
As you don’t want me anymore.
...

It started with a look,
That turned into a smile.
He held me in his arms,
And we cuddled for awhile.
...

I saw you today,
But you’re not here.
I don’t believe in ghosts,
So there is nothing to fear.
...

I hope I never meet,
The next girl in his life.
She may be the one,
Who won’t win the fight.
...

There’s so many things that I’d like to do,
If I got to have a moment with you.
We’d watch the sunset or catch a show,
Then it would be time for me to go home.
...

I stare up at the cross,
And uncontrollably cry.
I need to find an answer,
Why did you have to die?

Sarah Holmes Biography

I have always enjoyed writing poems about different aspects of life. As you can see from my work i like to rhyme within my poems. I would like to thank all the people who helped me write these poems without even realising it. If they hadn't come into my life, i wouldnt have written a poem about how i felt. I would like to dedicate them to my daughter Rebecca. She is a star. Love you.)

Death By Bullying

Will you cry at her funeral,
Will you feel guilty if you knew?
That’s she’s lying in this coffin,
And it’s all because of you.

Those weeks at school,
I’ll never forget.
That horrible day,
When you and her met.

Every evening she would come home,
And tell me of her day.
How her life had no sunshine,
It was just dark and grey.

I’d tell her every morning,
God loves you all the same.
But she couldn’t understand,
If he loved her, then why all this pain?

I never thought my darling girl,
Would do that to her self.
All I have are memories,
And that picture on our shelf.

She told me her troubles,
I listened but didn’t act.
If only I had done more,
Then I could have my daughter back.

TO ALL THOSE PARENTS OUT THERE,
WHO LISTEN BUT DON’T SPEAK.
MY CHILD DIED OF BULLYING, LETS STOP IT,
OR IT COULD BE YOURS NEXT WEEK.
