how can i forget the china man who lives below our house selling us noddles for breakfast
proclaiming Long Life, Good Business,
Posterity of the Family

when your loved ones change
and say they need space
and have to to take their breaths somewhere
and leave you

IT is not only in place out of reach
like an island far away from the city
or a pathless mountain
where we hide
