Another day gone
Another page turned
Another bell has rung
Another bridge has been burned

You think she would remember
You think that she would call
It was only last December
Yet she remembers not at all

Up in the sky there is no shining sun
Sometimes i wish the rhymes wouldn't come
No light works and no engine runs

As i lay waiting
for something to happen
i also am hating
you for what you did

sitting here watching our favorite flick
listening to our favorite song
its making me feel exceptionally sick
and even more so exceptionally wrong

in the blaze of the heat
